Our mission

Mila ayurveda's mission is to educate and empower women around the world to take control of their own health, wellness, and well-being.

We believe that women can achieve optimal health by taking time for themselves and cultivating healthy habits. Ayurvedic daily routines are a way of life that have been proven to prevent disease and promote longevity.

Ayurvedic home routines

Your daily routine is the foundation of your day, and it's amazing how simple small changes can make a big difference.

As a beginner, you may not know which routine to follow. Here are some common daily routines recommended by Ayurveda.

  • Abhyanga is a self-massage with warm oil. It helps to boost circulation, relax the mind and body, and improve skin health.
  • Nasya involves placing medicated oils into your nose. This treatment helps clear out mucus from your sinuses and nasal passages so that you can breathe better throughout the day.
  • Warm water has many benefits for your health — it can regulate blood pressure, improve digestion, relieve constipation, reduce inflammation, and much more! Drink plenty of warm water during the day for optimal health benefits.
  • Meditation is another key component of any Ayurvedic routine because it boosts focus and concentration as well as helping you relax
  • Yoga is one of the best ways to balance your mind and body. The gentle stretching and breathing exercises in yoga help you feel refreshed and energized throughout the day.

Your daily routines should be in balance with your main dosha type. This way you can achieve the best results and discover your potential to live your life healthy and happy.

Our three main pillars for balanced living

Digestion

Digestion

Agni is the metabolic fire in your body. It's also called digestive fire or gastric fire, and it's responsible for digesting food, absorbing nutrients, and converting them into energy.

Balanced Agni Is Key To Health

When agni is balanced, your metabolism works efficiently to turn food into energy. Your digestion improves, you feel better overall, and you have more stamina and strength. You'll have a healthy complexion and glowing skin as well as good immunity because balanced agni produces more antibodies to help fight off viruses and bacteria that cause illness.

Agni can be balanced through diet and lifestyle changes.

Cleansing

Cleansing

Ama is a Sanskrit word that translates to “undigested food.” It is a term used in Ayurveda, to describe the buildup of toxins in the body due to unmetabolized substances that are absorbed from food.

Ama can cause a wide range of symptoms and diseases, including digestive issues such as bloating and gas, skin problems like eczema and psoriasis, weight gain, depression and anxiety, infertility issues and more.

Ama is not technically a disease itself but rather an indicator that something else is wrong with your health. If you have ama in your body, it means that there are certain things you need to change about your lifestyle in order to get rid of it.

Ojas

Ojas

"Ojas" is the Sanskrit word for a subtle form of energy produced by the body and mind in a healthy state. It's considered to be the "ultimate energy".

When ojas is present in abundance, you feel happy and content all day long. You're full of energy and ready to take on any challenge that comes your way.

Ojas can be depleted by physical stress (e.g., overwork or excessive exercise), mental stress (e.g., worry or anxiety), environmental factors (e.g., pollution), poor diet, and lack of sleep — all of which deplete your body's supply of vital energy at different rates depending on your unique physiology.

There are many ways how to build a healthy Ojas. We can use different styles of yoga, meditation, develop good sleeping and eating habits.

About us

I am a medical doctor and dentist, and I'm passionate about holistic healthcare.

I believe that body, mind and soul are connected in ways that traditional medicine doesn't acknowledge. And I think we can do better than just managing symptoms—we can actually improve people's lives by addressing the root causes of their conditions.

Since discovering Ayurveda, I've been on a mission to bring this ancient healing practice into the modern era by making it accessible, affordable, and easy to use at home. That's why I created Mila ayurveda, to help people understand their constitution, balance their diet and establish healthy daily routines.
